Our next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, 26 March/7:00 pm at the Plattsmouth Library. This will be the first monthly meeting outside of Louisville in a few years. We hope everyone can make it out and enjoy visiting our county seat! Senate Candidate Ben Sasse will be on hand to present his vision for the state after our main meeting has concluded.
Senate Candidate Ben Sasse visited Elmwood on March 12th at the Elmwood Care Center. The town hall focused on Obamacare. A good group turned out to hear Ben’s message and his information regarding Obamacare. We thank Ben for visiting Cass County!

Thanks to all of our volunteers that helped at the Cass County Fair last week! Once again the Cass County Fair was a success with many people from the area visiting the fair and stopping at the Cass County Republican Party booth. Our booth was very busy once again. As usual our balloons were a hit with the kids. The Fair parade was fun with a good turnout. We had a number of local and state candidates appear at the fair and join us at the booth. Here are some pictures from the fair.
We’ve been fortunate to have Deb Fischer in the area many times over the past year. She returned for the first time as a United States Senator last month for the Cass County GOP Lincoln Dessert event. We had a wonderful turnout. It was great to visit with Senator Fischer! A special thanks to all of the people who made the event a success – everyone who made desserts, volunteers who sold tickets, organized prizes and set up the event! Also thanks to the Boy Scouts for opening the night with the pledge. We look forward to seeing Senator Fischer again down the road. Here are some pictures from the evening.
